That's A Wrap

Last day of school!  Here we go!  Tomorrow is my last day of school. 13 years of public education and now I'm done. I'm so excited for the next chapter.

If You Want To Know

The Experience Director is in charge of the Sunday morning worship experience.  This includes being in charge of the teams of people that serve every Sunday to make the worship experience happen.  These are teams like production (such as lights, video, sound and stage teams), worship (like band and vocals) and speakers (the pastor and anyone else speaking on the stage that morning).  As an Experience Director, I will be in charge of many different tasks, like planning the weekly worship experience to planning creative elements for special Sundays, such as Christmas Eve and Easter.  

The most important thing I will do as an Experience Director is lead people as we go reach those who haven’t found Jesus.  We can do this by making sure that we create an environment where they feel loved and they can feel the grace of God.  God gives every person gifts and talents.  Helping people find their place in the church is so vital to their spiritual growth and really plays a role in their walk with Christ, as well as the growth of the church community.  Being able to lead people also means you can help foster relationships between the people who serve in your department and with the people who serve in your department.

I cannot think of a better way to spend my lifetime than helping people find their way back to God.  While the road will be difficult at times, the eternal reward, being able to see more and more people in Heaven, is going to be so worth it.

Post 7 Days!

This is my seventh day of my senior year of high school. Going good. Lots going on. It's just bliss. 

T-minus 7 Days

Seven days left. I only have seven days left until I become a senior. I can't believe I got here, it blows my mind. But here's to the end, so that we can move on to the beginning.

Don't worry. Be happy. Cause every little thing, is gonna be alright...

Today, while you are out in the world, take a breather.

I constantly have to remember to do this.  Not to freak out and worry about everything, but to take things one at a time as they come.  I only bring it up because I recently had someone remind me of this.  That worrying about all these things at once doesn't accomplish anything, but to start with one project and go from there.
